Mums, if you’re having Botox, it may be time to stop. It’s scaring your babies, according to new research.
The search for the perfect, wrinkle-free complexion could be causing psychological harm to little ones, who apparently feel frightened by the motionless, wax-like face staring back at them.
The Harvard University research found that babies quickly began crying when their mums kept their faces expressionless (like if they’ve had Botox).
“The babies are likely to miss out on milestones vital to progress. Babies learn to communicate by looking at the most important person in their lives – their mum,” explained neuro-scientist David Weeks.
