Brad takes a tumble to protect his and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Vivienne
With handsome good looks, we’re pretty sure Brad Pitt could pull off some of the strangest fashion trends, but when he emerged this weekend with a walking cane, we weren’t too sure.
However, all was explained when Brad, 48, attended the Palm Springs International Film Awards Gala this weekend. Angelina Jolie’s other half clarified the cane was a walking aid gained from protecting his 3-year-old daughter Vivienne from a fall.
Brad told reporters, “I was carrying my daughter down the hill and I slipped. It was either her or me.”
Having torn a leg ligament, Brad admitted he could be using the cane for a while. Angelina confessed this wasn’t the first time her or Brad had been injured protecting one of the children.
“I think all parents get injured in the line of fire,” said Angelina, “When Maddox was young, I fell and hurt my elbow. It’s a pretty common occurrence.” Wow. Way to steal Brad’s thunder, Ange!
