iCandy launches new Core pushchair – see its key features
Premium pushchair brand iCandy launches the new Core stroller, which comes with 2 sets of wheels to suit a variety of terrains, a rechargeable LED light, and the brand's largest seat unit
iCandy is well known among parents and parents-to-be as a premium pushchair brand, with a fruit-themed range of single and double options for parents seeking practicality without compromising on style. In recent years, it's launched updated versions of its most popular models, including the Orange and the Peach 7, along with the more compact Lime.
Its latest arrival, the iCandy Core, promises the good looks and functionality expected from the brand, with some unique features to help it stand out from the crowd. It's travel system compatible, can be used right up until 25kg, and comes in a range of attractive colours (Black, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Atlantis Blue and Light Moss).
What are the iCandy Core's best features?
Multi-mode wheel base – Its most unique feature is a chassis which can be adapted to either city or all-terrain mode, with 2 sets of matching wheels depending on where you want to use it. Use the larger set of wheels with the longer, more substantial wheelbase on rougher ground, and then adjust the frame to a smaller setting, with lighter wheels, for a compact city stroller. This ability to switch between modes with just one pushchair really sets the Core apart, and is likely to appeal to parents who would otherwise purchase a large everyday buggy from birth before buying a more compact stroller when their baby gets older.
One-hand, freestanding fold – The iCandy Core can be folded with one hand, with the seat attached – a convenient feature for parents on the go, and notably different to the Peach 7, which can only be folded with the seat removed. It's also freestanding when folded, handy for storage.
Carrycot suitable for overnight sleeping – like the latest version of the Peach, the Core has a carrycot which can be used overnight, making it a useful option for short breaks and family visits.
Hub Light – iCandy are very excited about the LED visibility hub light, which is positioned at the side of the pushchair and is rechargeable via USB. It's a useful feature when out and about in the dark or in low light conditions.
Large seat – The Core's seat unit, with a pop-up calf rest, is the largest in the iCandy range, offering extra comfort and room to grow. It's lie-flat, suitable from 0-25kg.
Integrated Ride-On Board – The iCandy Core is designed with modern family life in mind, and comes with an integrated ride-on board for an easy way to transport a baby and a toddler.
Extra large basket – the Core's basket has a huge 48 litre capacity, allowing plenty of space for a changing bag and your supermarket haul.
Parent-friendly features – The Core has plenty of details to make parents and carers' lives easier, including an adjustable pushbar with bag hooks, a flip-flop friendly brake, and the option of using elevators to raise the seat height (great for meals out).
What age is the iCandy Core suitable for?
The iCandy Core is suitable from birth up to 25kg, or, 15kg when using the elevator adaptors.
