The wacky adventurer Wallace and his faithful companion Gromit are always up for an exciting new venture – and now your children can get the chance to put their inventing thinking caps on and suggest a new ‘cracking idea’ for Wallace and Gromit to try.
The Intellectual Property Office has teamed up with Aardman Animations to challenge children around the UK to come up with weird and wacky ideas for the next business venture of the characters.
“We are looking for the kind of ingenious, original and crazy ideas that could have been dreamed up by Wallace and Gromit themselves!” Sean Clarke, Head of Aardman Rights said.
The Cracking Ideas competition is open to all 4-16 year olds and all children 4 to 16. All your children need to do is download the three activity packs from the website – just don’t forget your pencil!
The lucky national winners will receive a bespoke trophy created by Aardman and the 12 regional winners will each receive a laptop, board games and DVDs.
