Catherine Tyldesley shares precious photos of baby Alfie
The Coronation Street star wowed at the Soap Awards but is clearly happiest at home with her little man
Catherine Tyldesley was reunited with her Coronation Street co-stars at the Soap Awards in Manchester this weekend. The new mum gave birth to her first child – a baby boy named Alfie in March. While she's currently on maternity leave, the actress, who plays Eva Price in the ITV soap, couldn't resist the chance to catch up with her Corrie colleagues and enjoy a proper night out.
Dressed in a plunging pastel yellow gown, Cath radiates good health. But she revealed on Twitter that she had a bit of a fake tan disaster before the bash! " When you bath the baby and all your fake tan disappears from the elbows down #nice #newtrend #palegloves," she tweeted. Well, we're glad she managed to sort her arms out before the do!
But after her big night out on Saturday, the mum-of-1 was back at home having a restful day with her 2-month-old. Sharing a picture of Alfie snoozing on the sofa, she commented: "Little pickle showing us how Sundays should be spent." We couldn't agree more.
But it’s not all naps, Cath has revealed she's slowly starting to get back into a fitness routine with her personal trainer fiancé Tom.
"Tom has been training me in our home gym at weekends and I've been loving it," she shared on Twitter. "Getting stronger and stronger is such a buzz – and lord knows I need my upper body strength back these days. How heavy are these car seat/prams/babies?

"I'll be hench in a few months! Training with lack of sleep is so hard – sometimes you'll benefit much more from a nap."
We couldn't agree more. Only exercise when you feel totally up to it.
