Celebrities have been going gaga over baby talk this week, with unlikely broody celeb Megan Fox up first! Talking about her maternal instincts in an interview, the sultry actress has admitted that she’s always wanted to be a mum.
“No one believes me when I talk about this, but I’m really maternal,” she revealed to W magazine. “I worry that because I’ve always wanted kids so much, as the world goes sometimes, I won’t be able to have them.” The 23-year-old who’s recently been topping the ‘World’s Sexiest Woman’ polls, thinks she’d be a great mum to boot. “I would be able to provide them with such an amazing environment,” she shared.
Meanwhile, newlywed Danielle Bux has revealed that she wants babies with her Walkers Crisps hubby Gary Lineker! Not one to be put off by their already large family of five, with Gary’s four sons from his previous marriage and Danielle’s 8-year-old daughter, the model is keen to expand their brood.
“We’ve discussed it and definitely want them in the future. I don’t want to leave it too late, because I don’t want to be an old mum, so maybe in a couple of years,” she told The Mirror. The 30-year-old also revealed that being parents has strengthened the bond between her and 48-year-old Gary. “I don’t think the relationship would work so well if we didn’t both have children. We understand each other,” she admitted.
The model also revealed that she’s taking her new, daunting role as step-mum to Gary’s teenage sons in her stride. “I just try to be their friend and try to be cool! I don’t know if they think I’m cool – they’re probably making fun of me behind my back!”
Elsewhere at New York Fashion Week, after just unveiling her A/W 2010-11 collection of her fashion label L.A.M.B, mum-of-two Gwen Stefani has admitted that she isn’t done with having more children.
Fresh from the catwalk with her sons Kingston, 3, and Zuma, 1, in tow, the singer-turned-fashion designer revealed that she isn’t ruling out expanding her family, however she needs to have a rest first! “It could happen. But who knows, I kind of have a lot on my plate right now being a mum. My 3-year-old is so naughty and I have a baby as well.”
Another celeb toying with the idea of having babies is former Take That star Robbie Williams. After giving up his bachelor ways by getting engaged to his long term love, Ayda Field, the 38-year-old star is “coming round to the idea” of becoming a dad. Well, it’s a start! “I’m feeling good things. Ayda keeps going on about it and really, really wants one. I’m coming round to the idea. But it’s slowly, slowly catchy monkey,” he told The Sun.
However, someone who has no regrets about remaining childless is Sex and the City starlet Kim Cattrall. The 52-year-old actress, who is three times married and now single with no children, says she’s happy with her decision. “I don’t regret not having children. It’s fine, it really is, I’m a pretty good auntie and I have a lot of friends with kids,” she told the Evening Standard. Clearly not keen on following her co-star Sarah Jessica Parker’s footsteps and having a large brood, she is more than happy living the single life. “At the end of the day I like to go home and be quiet and have time to relax.”
Another day, another scandal in the life of golfer Tiger Woods. Six weeks since the allegations of his countless affairs behind his wife Elin’s back, fresh rumours have surfaced that Tiger got one of his mistresses pregnant – twice.
Joslyn James, who claims that she was one of Tiger’s many affairs, spoke out on US TV alleging that she had been pregnant with Tiger’s baby on two occasions. One pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and the other was aborted. The porn star claimed that Tiger knew nothing of either pregnancies, the first of which apparently occurred at the same time his wife was expecting their first child Sam.
