Chris Evans and wife Natasha Shishmanian have welcomed their second baby boy this morning.
The radio presenter announced the news live on BBC Radio 2 today before telling Twitter followers, “Eli Alfred Michael Evans says hi!” Chris later added, “Thx so much for al the twitter Eli love. It’s gonna be one hell of a weekend!!”
Chris, who was recently papped pointing at Natasha’s baby bump, had been at Hay festival when he heard the news that Natasha had gone into labour. In James Bond style, he hot footed back to London. Chris told Twitter followers, “On the way to Baby Drop!”
The pair, who also have a 2-year-old son, are said to have used IVF to conceive. Chris expressed his thanks in his Mail On Sunday column, saying, “We are eternally grateful. You make dreams come true.”
Now it seems the cheeky star is getting ready for late-night feeds, tweeting, “That coffee is getting ever more important.” Lucky he’s a morning presenter, huh!
