“Well @SarraHoy & I received an early Xmas present this week, wee Callum is finally home!” Chris tweeted. “Thanks so much for all the kind messages of support… and thanks to everyone in the neonatal wards who helped him on his way. Still a long way to go but it’s great to have him home!”

After holding his premature son for the first time in November, Chris said he had his “fingers crossed” that Callum would make it home for Christmas. So the new parents must be overjoyed that Callum will be spending his first festive season at home with his family.

“Our little miracle, always one step ahead of us!” Sarra added. “Huge thanks to nursing staff who cared for Callum in ICU, HDU and finally, special care.”

To celebrate Callum’s homecoming, Chris shared a new picture of his newborn.

“He may only be tiny but in this pose I can’t help but feel he looks like he’s hatching a plot for world domination!” he tweeted.
