It’s a boy for model Chrissy Teigen and her singer-songwriter husband John Legend ?
The lovely couple, who are already parents to 20-month-old daughter Luna Simone, confirmed the news via Chrissy’s Instagram page.
Amongst a few rather bling ✨ photos of Chrissy and her burgeoning bump looking amazing in silver sequins at the Grammy Awards, she wrote: “Mama and her baby boy”
Now, it’s been common knowledge for a while that Chrissy and John used gender selection while undergoing IVF treatment to conceive their 1st baby.
Though it’s not legal to do so here in the UK (unless there’s a medical reason for it), it’s totally legal in the US. Still, Chrissy was forced to defend her decision at the time.
“I’ve made this decision,” she told People. “Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl.'”
Around the same time, in January 2017, she revealed that the couple’s remaining frozen embryo was, in fact, a boy.
“Since this is coming up again, I said our next baby would be a boy because that is the embryo we have left,” she tweeted. “A boy. So. Yeah.”
So, we already had a hunch that Chrissy was expecting a son the 2nd time round. We’re sure little Luna will LOVE having a baby bro ???
As for Chrissy’s due date? She’s kept that under wraps, but given that in November 2017 John revealed they had a “few months to go” before baby no 2’s arrival, we reckon she might be due in Feb/March 2018!
Such an exciting time ?
