Coleen Rooney chooses NHS birth

WAG snubs private hospitals

Coleen Rooney is set to snub the private healthcare usually favoured by stars to give birth at an NHS hospital, reports the Daily Mail.

The mum-to-be, who is expecting her first child with footballer husband Wayne Rooney on October 24th, will have her baby at Liverpool Women’s hospital.

Her decision to use the NHS has delighted staff at the hospital, which claims to have the highest standards of maternity care.

Coleen has also shunned another tradition of many superstar mums by refusing to sign a magazine deal for the first photos of her baby. She turned down a £1 million offer from OK magazine, insisting she wants her child to be kept out of the spotlight.

It seems Coleen has been well and truly bitten by the baby bug, as she’s already planning her own range of baby clothing and said she can’t wait to meet the new addition to her family.
