Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley is pregnant with her first baby.
The actress who plays Eva Price in the soap, took to Twitter to confirm that she’s expecting a baby with her fitness trainer boyfriend Tom Pitfield.
"Delighted to tell you all that @TP_PTfitness and I are expecting a bambino! Beyond thrilled :-)," she tweeted yesterday.
Catherine only met Tom 9 months ago – and their baby is due in March.
But the mum-to-be insists it’s the right time for a baby.

"If you'd told me that before my next birthday I was going to meet someone as amazing as Tom, the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, and that we were going to be planning for our first baby, I would not have believed you in a million years... it's crazy," she told Hello! magazine.
"It's like everything has gone fast forward, but it's not remotely scary. I have felt strongly that being a mother is something I am supposed to do and, when I met Tom, I absolutely knew that he was the right person. It feels like the right time."
