Dad-to-be shares partner’s morning sickness pic on Facebook

We're all for this guy helping his pregnant fiancee out when she was feeling rough - but did he really need to share the photo?

Well this dad-to-be’s picture certainly caused a bit of a stir when he posted it on Facebook recently. If it’s not totally apparent from the pic, expectant father Josh Streeter is holding his partner Ariana’s hair back for her as she deals with one of the less appealing bits of pregnancy – morning sickness.

Alongside the photo, Josh penned an epic tribute to his girl, acknowledging how tough pregnancy is for her, but also how much it has educated him.

He wrote: “Pregnancy is the best experience for me. It’s taught me so much that I thought I already knew, it gives you frustrations, irritation, love, caring more than you ever have, patience and respect. I now have a completely [different] point of view on pregnancy, it is so much work, (but also heartwarming).

“Every second is worth it, it has literally taken my fiancé and took over her body and with all the stress, aching and using the bathroom and sickness throughout the entire day, they hurt, they get so emotional and fatigue and they can’t explain why, but that’s where you come in, make her feel that it’s okay to cry, get upset, mad and laugh out of no where and make her feel like she is a damn queen. Because she is creating a life and that is so interesting and amazing to me.

“Make her smile every damn day because her view of her own self is changing, her hormones are going 2mph, she gaining weight and she’s thinking that it’s making her less beautiful but reality is that she’s even more beautiful than ever.

“As a father and a catering fiancé I can honestly say this is the best school you can attend and be there every time she needs the daddy, be the damn father and love her and remind her how beautiful she is because this is the best experience that I have ever been through and I’ve learned so much and for all that you women go through, I respect you and you have my vote.

“I have a different view on pregnancy now that I’m experiencing it for myself. The best education a man could be given reminding her.”

Facebook dad Josh Streeter kisses partners bump

Josh previously shared a loving snap of him tenderly kissing his fiancee Ariana’s bump, revealing the happy pair were expecting a little boy, Wyatt, ‘preferably’ on October 4 this year.

Now, we can only applaud the sentiment behind Josh’s obvious adoration of his fiancee (his Queen no less!) and his excitement at impending fatherhood (and wish all men GOT pregnancy this way). But (and there is a but) – being sick is well, you know… one of those things you’d rather not have an audience for.

Not even back in the day when your best girlfriend thought she was being helpful holding your locks out of the way while you worshipped at the ceramic altar after a messy night out.

And as for posting the pic on social media? Nooo!

So sorry Josh, while we are loving your words, the MFM team vote is all in favour of private puking!

What do you think? Would YOU be happy if your partner was there ‘helping’ while you were sick? Or is it just the posting of the pic on FB that turns your stomach? Or, do you just see it as a sweet gesture from a besotted boyfriend? Let us know.
