“If I could go back to any moment in time, I’d be six months pregnant again. I loved it – just the feeling of rubbing that belly. I look at photos of myself from then and you can see the difference – I’m glowing,” said Dannii, in an interview appearing in the new issue of Tesco magazine.

“I do think about what it would be like to have another baby and then the practical side takes over and I think, wow, having two kids would be such a big change to our family life,” explained Dannii.

However it seems Dannii isn’t opposed to the idea of another baby. “I would like to have more, it’s just a matter of making it work. Ethan is at the age now where everything he does is cute, and I’m really enjoying that. So my dilemma is, do I enjoy this time with Ethan or do I enjoy being pregnant again? It’s a big decision because time’s ticking on and I don’t have long to think about it,” said Dannii, who turned 40 earlier this year.

As for being a working mum, Dannii admitted it is hard, but said she’s not going to complain about it. “I feel incredibly happy and proud as I have a career I love, a loving family and my gorgeous baby. I always try to remember that I’m lucky and life is good.”

However, it seems there’s a heartbreaking twist to Dannii’s appreciation of what she has. “My best friend Laura died a few years ago, and her loss taught me that we really have to appreciate life, to say, ‘Wow, I’m alive’ and try to experience as much as we can. I know that’s what she’d want me to be doing. So I don’t worry about getting wrinkles or being another year older – I see it as a privilege.”
