Delivery of Santa’s letters stops in The States
Tradition of wish lists posted to the ‘North Pole’ comes to an end

American children sending their Christmas lists to the North Pole will be disappointed this December, as the US postal service has put a stop on replies.
Traditionally, letters addressed to ‘Santa Claus, North Pole’ were delivered to a small town in Alaska, where volunteer ‘elves’ sorted the mail and replied individually.
However, the festive service has been stopped after it was discovered that one of the elves was a registered sex offender.
Luckily there’s no such problem this side of the pond, as little ones can still write to Santa at: Santa, Santa’s Grotto, Reindeerland, SAN TA1, including their name and address, and with a little help from the Royal Mail, Father Christmas will magically respond.
