Helen Flanagan shares first pictures of her baby

Helen Flanagan has given birth to a baby girl. The former Coronation Street actress was one week overdue and playing the baby waiting game when she finally gave birth to her first baby with footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair. The couple named their daughter Matilda Jessica Sinclair – and couldn't wait to share pictures with fans.
Taking to Instagram, Helen shared a makeup-free selfie from her hospital bed – with baby Matilda fast asleep. The newborn displayed a full head of hair and nestled into her mum. "My everything ❤️," Helen commented.
Next up it was dad's turn to be papped with the newborn. Enjoying some skin-to-skin contact with his baby, Scott looked down lovingly at his daughter. "The man I love and our world ??❤️," Helen commented.
Then it was Matilda's turn to go it alone with her own special portrait. Helen was determined not to find out the sex of her baby, so didn't buy any pink or blue clothes for her newborn. Instead, lying on a colourful knitted blanket, Matilda wears a gender-neutral green babygrow that reads 'apple of mummy's eye'. "Matilda Jessica Sinclair ❤️? my beautiful little girl x," Helen commented.
In another shot, shared on Instagram by the proud new dad, Matilda dozes peacefully on her mum's chest. "Best day of my life welcome to the world Matilda Jessica Sinclair ❤️❤️❤️? @hjgflanagan," Scott commented.
