Elton John, 66, opened up about life with his two boys on the Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week.
He has two sons with partner David Furnish – Zachary, 2 years and 9 months and Elijah, 8 months.
After sharing photos of the boys, Ellen said of baby Elijah: “He’s a big, big baby.”
“He is huge,” Sir Elton agreed. “He’s wearing the same size shoes as Zachary. He’s a tight-end in the making. He’s going to be a football player, I think. “He’s very big but he’s very gentle,” he added.
Unlike, it seems, older son Zachary. “He’s like Bamm-Bamm from the Flintstones – he doesn’t know his own strength!”
Ellen then presented him with gifts for the boys. “I feel like you should already have this for your boys,” she said, handing him jackets with sparkly musical notes on them and each of the boys’ names emblazoned on the back. “They can go see you in Vegas! I can’t believe Lady Gaga didn’t get you this already. I should be the godmother to your children!”
Sir Elton and David Furnish made Lady Gaga Elijah’s godmother earlier this year. The pop singer was already godmother to Zachary.
Sir Elton told Ellen he and David planned to marry soon, as same-sex marriage is now legal in the UK. He added that fatherhood was “just amazing”.
“Every moment of the day you think about them. Your whole priorities in your life change. It’s all about them,” he said.
