How Blake Lively's 'secret birth' was revealed
The actress has kept quiet, and used a codeword to invite her godmother over - leading to claims the baby's called Wallpaper
Blake Lively has spoken about becoming a mum for the first time since reportedly giving birth in late December. Blake was due in early 2015, but is said to have given birth at the Westchester Medical Centre near her and husband Ryan Reynolds' home in Bedford, New York. But the actress has yet to confirm the reports.
Instead news first leaked out from various sources. An unnamed source apparently told UsWeekly, "The baby came early but everyone is happy and healthy. The Bedford house is all prepared. They're going to stay up there for the baby's first days."
As fans around the world then clamoured for details of the Gossip Girl actress's baby, a tweet allegedly from a worker at the hospital seemed to reveal her daughter's name is Violet. "Congrats @blakelively #blakelively glad to have you and baby girl Violet in our care," a tweet from @kimbanksy read, according to Hello! Daily News.
Even their baby's godmother was 'tricked'
It's not just fans who have been kept in the dark – she kept news of the birth from her baby's godmother and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star Amber Tamblyn.
"That bitch! She tricked me!" Amber joked of Blake's deceit. "I went up there and I didn't know, everybody knew but me," Amber said. "She was texting me about wallpaper, she was like, 'You gotta come see my new wallpaper,' and I went up there, and there was her baby."

And then, Amber's comments led to an online hubbub suggesting that Blake's baby was called Wallpaper!
It seems the A-list star is not going to be put off by all the speculation and rumours around the birth of her baby. "I feel like my first child is going to be the oldest sibling to the next kid, and that may change with each and every year," Blake told People magazine before her baby's birth. "You don't just raise your kids, your kids also raise each other – oh my Lord, the things I learned from my brother Eric. He's influenced my life so much. So I'm looking forward to how one baby influences the other, and to my family as a whole, to every single chapter."
Congratulations all!
