Katie Price may still be recovering from a traumatic birth to 8-weeks-premature Jett Riviera with husband Kieran Hayler, but she is already looking ahead to her fifth child, according an interview she gave to The Sun.
On Friday, the 35-year-old model had an emergency caesarean section while on holiday abroad at just 32 weeks pregnant, after developing a potentially life-threatening infection.
Describing the process as “pure stress,” Katie said: “The baby’s heart rate was really low. The next thing I know, a nurse is in my room saying: ‘Get ready now. You have five minutes to shower. You are having [a] C-section soon.'”
Jett, who weighed 5lb 2oz at birth, remains in hospital but Katie was discharged on Friday.
She told The Sun: “We’ve been through a nightmare, but it’s made me and Kieran so much stronger and we can’t wait to have another baby.”
Jett is Katie’s fourth child, joining 11-year-old Harvey whose father is Dwight Yorke, and Junior, 8, and Princess, 6, whom Katie had with ex-husband Peter Andre.
On Sunday, Katie acknowledged her fans on Twitter by saying: “Finally in a state to tweet thank you for everyone’s amazing support and messages! I love @kieran0322 and our amazing baby boy jett. #jett”
