Actress, Kristen Bell, has given birth to her first child: a baby girl, to be called Lincoln Bell Shepard.
Fiance, Dax Shepard, took to Twitter to announce their daughter's arrival: @daxshepard1 "Lincoln Bell Shepard is here. She has mum's beauty and dad's obsession with breasts. Hooray!"
Kristen wasn't far behind, tweeting about their new addition with a similar sense of humour: @IMKristenBell "My new roomate poops her pants and doesn't pay rent...basically @daxshepard1 pre-sobriety :) welcome baby Lincoln xo"
The new mum had tweeted an adorable picture of her Corgi pooch, Lola, "Eavesdropping" on her baby bump the day before she gave birth.
The couple, who got engaged after two years of dating, are abstaining from marriage until same-sex marriage becomes legal. "The reason we're not rushing to get married," says Kristen, "is because I don't feel appropriate taking advantage of a right that's denied to my gay and lesbian friends", reports The Sun.

The celeb couple have kept a playful sense of humour throughout Kristen's pregnancy, with the new mum having told talkshow host Ellen she has "nothing to prove."
