London mum: ‘Onesie saved my baby’s life’

Jessica Wynter gave birth in her onesie

When Jessica Wynter, 21, rushed to hospital in labour wearing her Christmas onesie, she didn’t imagine it would save her baby’s life.

But as she struggled across the car park of King’s College Hospital in London, her baby was born.

The only thing stopping the newborn from hitting the pavement was Jessica’s all-in-one suit.

Lucky baby Kye was born into a leg of her polka dot onesie!

Talking to the Sun, Jessica said: “If I’d not been wearing it I don’t think Kye would have survived.

“It was incredibly lucky – the onesie saved my baby’s life.”

Mum and baby are both now healthy and doing well.
