You’ve voted Olympian Mo Farah to be Celebrity Dad of the Year 2013.
On hearing the news, Mo commented: “I train to be an athlete but there is no training to be a dad and I’m learning all the time. This award shows I must doing something right, which is a real confidence boost!”
Speaking of the Premier Inn award, he added: “I’m just so happy that people feel I’m being a good dad. It’s such an honour.”
Farah’s wife Tania, gave birth to twin daughters at the end of last August. They also have a seven-year-old stepdaughter. Mo dedicated his 2012 gold medals to the newborns.
“The best part (of fatherhood) is being able to come back and see the girls,” he said. “Even when I’m exhausted from training, I get home and see them and suddenly I feel amazing again. To have three beautiful daughters is a blessing that I am grateful for every day.”
Awww. That definitely makes Mo a worthy winner – again!
