Can you pinpoint the exact time of day when it all gets too much, the pressure starts rising and you reach boiling point? According to a poll of 2,000 mums, 8.25am is the most stressful moment of a modern mum’s day, when you’re usually battling through the rush hour traffic to get your children to nursery or school on time.
Forty-two percent of mums confess to snapping at their children during the school run, regardless of their little ones’ behaviour, while 40% have been involved in some kind of road rage incident in the rush hour traffic en route to school.
Getting the right P.E. kit, letters, homework, dinner money and permission slips ready proved the next most stressful part of the day (38%), followed by getting children dressed (33%) and struggling with your tots’ breakfast (21%).
