When your baby’s hungry she’s hungry, right? Wherever you may happen to be. Even if that means slap bang in the middle of the biggest day of your life.
That’s exactly what happened to beautiful bride (she looks stunning, doesn’t she?) Christina Torino-Benton, who took a break from getting married to breastfeed her 9-month-old daughter Gemma, when she started crying during the wedding ceremony in a church in Quebec, Canada.
Christina captioned the post – which shows her sitting with her brand new hubby and breastfeeding little Gemma – as follows:
“Talk about feeding anytime & anywhere. That moment when you’re getting married and your baby gets hungry ? feeling SO proud of myself! Fighting that good fight! ❤️”
The lovely photo was shared on Breastfeeding Mama Talk’s Facebook page and prompted lots of other new mum brides to post their own pics of breastfeeding during their nuptials.
Jade Wolf says of this one:
“Ten minutes before I walked down the aisle! It’s one of my favourite photos from the day!
“We were on the way to him weaning so this was the last time we nursed and it’s been just over a week now. I will always treasure this picture.”
And Emily Scheffler says:
“Me breastfeeding my then 6 month-old at my vow renewal! Wouldn’t change it for the world.”
Awwwww! One thing’s for sure – once you’re a mum you’re a mum and that doesn’t stop for anything – even the Biggest. Day. Of. Your. Life.
But we wouldn’t have it any other way, right? ??
