Mum claims Kardashian Kids clothing promotes bad behaviour
US mum petitions Babies R Us to remove the range that includes leatherette skirts and faux fur vests
The Kardashians are known for being risqué with their fashion choices. Whether it’s a figure-hugging pencil skirt or sheer dress, they’re always making headlines. And since Kim’s daughter North West made her debut on the front row of the Givenchy show in Paris wearing a sheer black lace dress at the tender age of 1, even she’s been causing a stir.
But now it’s the family’s fashion label for children that’s been getting attention for all the wrong reasons. The Kardashian Kids clothing line is designed for girls aged 0 to 24 months and is available at Babies R Us in the States.
But a petition by Amie Logan from Kansas in the US, is asking for the store to stop selling the clothes because she says they are "damaging".
"I don't want my child to grow up to be a Sex Tape star," she says on the change.org petition page. "You pulled the Breaking Bad toys because they promoted Drug use. You should pull this clothing line because it promotes bad behaviour as well. The madness has to stop. If the toys are damaging so is the clothing."
Amie's main argument is that the Kardashians are bad role models, because of the way they came to be so famous. However, some of the 3,000 mums who've signed the petition are more concerned about the suitability of some of the clothes in the collection.
The line is certainly bold. While there are pretty white sundresses and polka-dot peter pan collar tops, there are also leatherette mini skirts and trousers and gold leggings.
This isn't a range for 8 year olds. It's for newborns to 24 months. So what do you think of the clothes? Have a look at the baby clothes on the next few pages and share your opinions...

This Animal Print Faux Fur Vest is described as "oh-so-wild" and will make your "dainty diva will look totally fur-bulous" according to the Babies R Us website.
Pair with these Leatherette Panel Leggings to add a touch of "biker babe" to the look. They're described as an "essential, go-to piece".
Colour block dress
This Sleeveless Panel Dress has a cute 60s style but also comes with a black "edgy leatherette diaper cover".
White summer dresses
Not all the clothes are quite so "edgy" and these white summer dresses are the most relaxed of the outfits available.
