Here at MFM, there’s nothing we love more than seeing unique pregnancy snapshots.

Not everyone wants to capture their bumps on camera, but for the mum in this pic - a woman named Jessica Mahoney - there was a very special reason she wanted to document her pregnancy.

According to Scary Mommy, her maternity photographer never delivered the images from her 1st pregnancy. And before becoming pregnant with her 2nd child, she tragically miscarried six times.

Photographer JoAnn Marrero took this breath-taking snap - using individual coloured smoke bombs to create the magical rainbow cloud effect - and shared it to her Facebook page, From Labour To Love.

She wrote alongside it:

More like this

“A rainbow baby is the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravage of the storm. When a rainbow appears, it does not mean the storm never happened or the family is still not dealing with its aftermath.

“What it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds.”

?

It was then shared by the Facebook page Birth Without Fear, where it was liked over 11k times.

“This is hands-down the most stunning, creative, and unique Rainbow photo I've ever seen. You just one-upped--TEN upped--the creativity standard. Beautiful!” one commenter wrote.

Couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
