Musical formula to help children brush their teeth!

Dentists discover Gangnam Style song can encourage children to clean their teeth

Trying to get your toddler to brush his teeth can be difficult at the best of times, but imagine if there was something that could make it more fun and less of a chore.

Well, dreams can come true, as experts at Aquafresh have devised a musical formula that is (almost) guaranteed to get any stubborn tot to brush his teeth.

The equation, 2(V+B+C)+M8+2C+, works out the perfect pattern of beats required in a song to deliver the right number of brush strokes needed for a complete clean.

And it soon followed that songs, with eight bars of music followed by two sets of four bars, are best for encouraging youngsters to brush more effectively.

Based on that fact alone, experts put the mathematical equation to the test and found that kids’ favourite ‘Gangnam Style’ by Psy was the perfect tune for the job.

So why not get your tot to brush-up with one of these highly recommended teeth cleaning songs:

1. Psy – Gangnam style

2. Rihanna – Diamonds

3. Gotye –Somebody that I used to Know

4. Olly Murs – Troublemaker

5. Wiley – Heatwave

6. Cheryl Cole – Call My Name

7. Carly Rae Jepson – Call Me Maybe

8. DJ Fresh ft. Rita Ora –Hot Right Now

9. Sam & the Womp – Bom Bom

10. Cover Drive – Twilight

Dental hygiene has been a hotly debated topic in the parenting world, with experts suggesting children should brush their teeth at school and discussing how best to care for your baby’s first tooth.

And the power of the Gangnam style doesn’t just fall into keeping those pearly whites bright, it’s also great for busting a move to. Check out this baby giving it a bit of ‘Op, op, op, oppan Gangnam Style’… here!
