New app enables family to help with homework remotely

Chatty Kidz app to revolutionise how children study

An American dad has devised a new app so that geographically distant relatives can read stories to his children.

Chatty Kidz aims to bridge the distance between relatives who live far away and abroad. When it’s time for your little one to sit and read a book or do her maths homework, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends can be on hand for an interactive video session.

The app is the brainchild of Ken Taggart, a father of two with grandparents living abroad.

In return for pledges via crowdfunding website Kickstarter, Chatty Kidz is currently giving away new features and free content for the app.
