Getting your baby into a sleep routine is never easy – and rapper Example has revealed he brought the professionals in for his 6-month-old son. The 33-year-old welcomed his first child – a son named Evander Maxwell – in December with his Australian wife Erin McNaught.

The rapper, real name Elliot Gleave, explained that they haven’t hired a nanny, but had to get some help with their baby’s sleep routine. It seems like pretty normal baby behaviour to us but he told the Metro: “It was a bit of a nightmare for a while because he was waking up 5 or 6 times a night so we had to get a sleep trainer in, but he’s now taking the bottle and eating solids.”

And now they’ve the sleep routine sorted, Example has no plans to get any more outside help. “Erin is an amazing mum – we purposefully haven’t hired a nanny because we want to do everything ourselves and be hands-on.”

But the dad-of-1 is determined not let fatherhood affect his party lifestyle too much. “I have a kid but that doesn’t mean I can’t be a bit mental and go off the rails and still have fun nights out,” he said. Hmm, we wonder how long that will last…
