Noel Gallagher’s grumpy baby advice for the royals
Singer cuts straight to the point with his parenting pearls
While most of the nation is digging out the bunting and enjoying another reason for a bit of British pride, Noel Gallagher appears to have got the grumps on at William and Kate’s baby news.
Following the royal couple’s pregnancy announcement Noel said, “They’re not the first people in the country to have a child, are they? I’ve got three, you know. Do I have any advice for them? People write books about that sh*t. Very expensive books – my wife’s got ‘em all.”
Noel’s got some dad-to-dad advice for William, too. “Tell William he’d be better thinking about rejoining the army – he’d have a quieter life.”
Kate's had some friendly faces around her hospital bed over the last couple of days. William has been seen visiting his wife, who is still in hospital with acute morning sickness, as well as Kate's sister Pippa, mum Carole and brother James.
As speculation surrounds the royal couple’s baby name plans, there’s also whispers the pair will look to Pippa Middleton and Prince Harry to be godparents.
