Fancy doing something fun with your brood that also helps a good cause? Well, the Baby Races may be just what you’re looking for.
Tommy’s, a UK charity that gives vital support to families who have suffered with pregnancy complications or the loss of a baby, are holding their annual 8k races nationwide this summer.
Whether you want to improve your fitness or simply raise money for a good cause, you either power-walk with your baby in their buggy, or run without, in beautiful venues across the UK in June, July and September.
“The Baby Race is a great excuse to get the whole family involved in a worthy cause,” says Jane Brewin, chief executive of Tommy’s.
“What is so special about this event is that such a range of individuals contribute to the spirit of the day. It’s there dedication, effort and enthusiasm that allows Tommy’s to continue to make progress in our research and continue to save thousand of babies’ lives.”
Registration costs £14.50 per person and includes a T-shirt, training plan, gift and goody bag. To find a race near you and to sign up, click here.
