Sam Taylor Wood pregnant with toyboy fiance
Artist is expecting first child with teenage actor Aaron Johnson
After their whirlwind romance, where the film director fell in love with the leading man on the set of the movie, Nowhere Boy, 42-year-old Sam Taylor Wood and her 19-year-old fiancee Aaron Johnson are expecting their first baby together.
Defying critics who thought that the award winning artist and director, Sam was too old for her teenage lover, the couple have proved them wrong and cemented their 8 month relationship with the announcement of a baby on the way.
Playing the lead role of a young John Lennon in Sam's directing debut, Aaron fell for Sam who is 23 years his senior, in May last year and proposed in October.
Already mum to two children, a daughter Angelica, 12, and Jessie, 3, whose dad is Sam's ex husband and fellow art enthusiast, Jay Jopling, she'll be welcoming a new addition to the family later this year.
"We can confirm that Sam is pregnant with her and Aaron's first child. Both are very, very happy," a representative for the couple has said.
