New mum Selma keeps hat on to hide postpartum hair loss as she enjoys the day out with baby Arthur
Selma Blair has been snapped out and about in Hollywood, getting into the Christmas spirit with her 4-month-old son Arthur. The pair visited The Grove shopping resort, dressed in matching outfits.
Judging from this pic, we reckon it’s not just Arthur's dress sense he’s getting from his celeb mum - the little chap’s a dead ringer for mummy Selma.
Selma also sported a black hat, possibly to cover the not-so-nice pregnancy side effect – postpartum hair loss, which she revealed last month.
“This is so not glamorous, but it’s true: I need to take longer showers so that I can collect the hair that falls out and throw it away so I don’t clog the drain,” the Cruel Intentions star said. “Why do actresses never talk about that?”
Hair loss is a common side effect of pregnancy and Selma’s began at the three-month mark. It usually takes nine months to a year for hair to grow back to its former thickness.

Keeping it real, Selma added, “I’m not a girl who likes extensions, so Selma’s going to be bald!”
