Little girls can step into the bold and colourful world of the 'Reine du Tricot' (Queen of knits) Sonia Rykiel, with her brand new knitwear collection for girls aged 18 months - 8 years.
About to drop into H&M stores on February 20, expect multi-striped tights, leggings and sweat tops, oversized bow scarves, pastel hued sweaters and (our favourite) hot pink ruffle dresses.
Quirky, cute and packed full of zesty colour pop, Sonia has really pulled out the stops to ensure the little girls' range offers playful and youthful styles. Based on the womenswear collection, these separates are the perfect mummy-daughter duos (we bet Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise will be beating down the door for a piece of this collection!)
"Knits were my destiny. I have always loved them. When I was a little girl, my mother knitted for me a little black sweater. Knits are happiness and represent true freedom," says the designer in question, Sonia Rykiel.
