Coleen Rooney: Fashionista Mama
Before becoming a mum to baby Kai, 23-year-old Coleen Rooney was something of a style chameleon. Starting off as a rulebook WAG with her love of Juicy Couture velour and Ugg boots, she wasn’t winning any style awards for subtlety.
However, gradually Coleen blossomed into a fashion forward, designer savvy chick who dressed for her womanly shape and always looks chic.
After giving birth to Kai Wayne Rooney in November, the young mum has completed another transformation – into an uber glam yummy mummy. Keeping it low key but with a burst of print, colour and statement comfort pieces – like those riding boots and jeggings.

Wear it like Coleen by keeping the rest of the outfit simple. Work with a simple palette of black and let this statement coat do the talking. Cue the red buttons and rounded collar.

These are probably the best invention of 2009 – the Jeggings, which are a combination of jeans and leggings, are a versatile must-have in every busy mum’s wardrobe.
Black Jeggings, £24, from Miss.Selfridge.
You can’t go wrong with a glossy pair of low heeled riding boots, just ask Coleen! Wear them over your jeggings, giving your overal outfit a luxe feel with its buckle trimming.

Finish off your yummy mummy look with a chunky, woven scarf to keep the chill away but stay looking gorgeous.
Woolly knitted scarf, £16, from Accessorize.
We know that Coleen is partial to a Chanel 2.55 bag. No need to break the bank as there are many replicas, like this cherry coloured cutie. The chain strap and quilted affect will jazz you your off-duty look.
Red quilt bag, £15, from ASOS.
A-List pushchair – Concord Neo Carbon
Never one to scrimp in the style stakes, Coleen’s probably fallen for the strikingly modern design that oozes technological know-how and quality, including a frame that’s handmade from high tech carbon.
It also has great functionality and is easy to manoeuvre with sturdy wheels and reclining levels – perfect for long shopping trips and resting at a swanky bar after an afternoon splashing the cash. No surprise then, that the Concord Neo Carbon comes with a WAG-style price tag – don’t expect change from £1000.
