Easter is nearly here and we’re getting egg-cited (sorry, all egg related puns will cease next week!) about all the lovely places we can visit during our time off. But, with the cold weather that seems set to stay put for the weekend our thoughts have turned to things to do inside – and it seems parents across the country have got the same idea!
A new survey by Ffrees Family Finance has revealed the top ten attractions families are choosing to visit this Easter, and it shows that the cold weather is driving families indoors, rather than out.
Almost half the families polled are opting for a warmer day out at the Natural History Museum and 38% said they wanted to visit The Eden Project biodomes in Cornwall. Depite this there are still some thrill-seeking families planning to head to the white knuckle rides at Alton Towers and spend the day rambling at Cheddar Gorge.
Here are their top ten family days out this Easter:
- Natural History Museum
- The Eden Project, Cornwall
- Alton Towers, Stafforshire
- London Eye
- Legoland, Windsor
- Cadbury World, Birmingham
- Warwick Castle
- Chester Zoo
- Chessington World of Adventures, Surrey
- Cheddar Gorge, Somerset
