Hot on the heels of Jean Paul Gaultier, Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney’s children’s fashion debuts, plus Missoni’s Bugaboo collaboration, another high-end fashion designer has revealed plans to branch into the mini-me market – Donatella Versace.
Famously known for its vibrant women’s collections, Versace has announced its plans to launch a children’s clothing range, the first since its original junior range, Versace Young, closed in 2004.
“This is a high-end, glamorous and colourful collection in line with the brand’s essence, with a touch of rock ‘n’ roll,” Versace’s CEO Gian Giacomo Ferarris has said. The collection is due to launch in Spring 2012.
How long do you think it’ll be until pint-sized fashionista Suri Cruise gets her hands on this new collection?!
