Tori Spelling defends Jessica Simpson’s pregnancy weight gain
Pregnant Tori Spelling has jumped to the defence of fellow mum-to-be Jessica Simpson.
Tori, 38, who announced she’s expecting baby number four last month, spoke to Celebuzz about the criticism that Jessica has been receiving.
Tori explained why she had decided to speak out. “When women are pregnant, people need to lay off. It’s a really special time and you should be able to deal with it in your own terms,” she said. We’re with you on that one Tori.
Tori encouraged Jessica, who is on the judging panel of NBC’s program Fashion Star, to keep up her stylish outfits in her last few weeks of pregnancy.
“You just have to wear it proud and go with it,” said Tori. “Everybody is different. As far as weight, you never know what is going to happen. You can’t control what angle people are snapping your photo from.”
Jessica seems to be embracing her pregnancy figure. After reportedly described herself as “like a big blob”, she has following in Demi Moore’s footsteps in a revealing cover shoot for Vanity Fair.
We think it’s great that Tori has come to Jessica’s defence. We always love a bit of bump solidarity!
