Una Healy gives birth to baby girl - The Saturdays star and rugby playing fiance welcome a girl

Una Healy has given birth to a healthy little girl a week before her due date, and just in time for Mother’s Day!

The Saturday’s singer and her rugby playing fiancé have welcomed a 7lbs 18oz little girl named Aoife Belle. Aoife is a traditional Irish name meaning beauty while Belle, which also means beautiful, is the French adaption of Ben’s mother’s maiden name, Bell.

Proud dad Ben Foden announced the news yesterday on Twitter. ‘I am officially a Dad!!! Una and baby are both amazing and healthy!!! So proud of them both! #babybenuna,’ he said.

Una’s bandmates were quick to celebrate the arrival of the sixth member of the Saturdays, taking to Twitter to share the news. Rochelle Wiseman said: ‘A beautiful girl has entered the world today and I’m her aunty #blessed. I’m so proud of @unahealy @ben_foden BIG love! Xx’. And fellow Saturday Frankie Sandford tweeted: ‘Congrats. So excited!!! Big hug… Don’t forget Una on Mother’s Day Sunday! How cool. Ur mum and dad! X.’
