Victoria Beckham’s new role: school dinner lady?
Former Spice Girl reckons that despite her jet set lifestyle, she’s still a “normal mum” and loves mucking in at lunchtime
With her immaculate appearance and her uniform of sky-high heels and designer arm candy, you couldn’t imagine Victoria Beckham getting her hands dirty in the kitchen. However, Posh, 35, has revealed that she is a “normal mum” and even does regular stints as the dinner lady at her sons’ school!
“If I’m not working, I go to the school and help serve lunches to the children. They just love that. It’s like, ‘Oh there’s Mummy serving me!'” she told US Glamour magazine.
Posh, serving up mushy peas and cold custard, wearing a hair net and apron? Whatever next! Well, she’s also pretty good at storytelling too and has even gained a fan base… “The other day I was there, I was reading to Cruz’s class. All the little girls were saying, ‘We really like your dress,’ I thought it was quite cute because I don’t have a girl,” she shared.
The popstar-turned-fashion-designer and mum to three boys, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 7, and Cruz, 5, takes her role model duty seriously and admitted she hates people being negative about her slender frame. “I appreciate that young girls look up to me. And I take that very seriously.”
