Why did this Perez Hilton selfie freak the internet out?
Is this #bathtime selfie 'creepy'? Judging by the internet backlash, lots of people think it is...

Controversial celeb Perez Hilton has – unintentionally, for once – made a bit of a splash by sharing a #bathtime photo with his toddler son. The US blogger and Celebrity Big Brother star snapped the selfie while taking a shower with his 2-year-old son Mario and shared it on Instagram.
But the dad-of-2, who also has 5-month-old daughter Mia, then got a lot of criticism for showering with his child.
Some commenters said the photo was "wrong" or "creepy" and "odd".
But others were quick to rush to the 37-year-old's defence. "Keep being an awesome dad!" one user commented. "Most of us parents shower with our lil ones! ? People just need to worry about their own kids..."
"Parents bathing with their toddlers is normal," said another. "It's how we get our toddlers bathed. If we don't shower with them, they refuse! This is parenthood! Welcome to reality!"
And another added, "American culture sexualises bodies unnecessarily all the time. It's totally normal to see bodies and it's frankly a time saver lol."
Perez responded to the criticism by sharing another photo of his smiling post-shower son. "Everyone does what they see fit as a parent," he later told the Daily Mail. "Personally, I enjoy putting on my swim trunks and taking a shower with my son as often as possible.
"I'd rather do that than leave him unattended, which will not happen until he's older and I'm confident he can be safe alone."
