Facebook CEO pays tribute to wife's family with new Chinese name
Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan have revealed their daughter Max's new name.
The Facebook CEO and his wife have given Max her Chinese name to mark the Chinese New Year. They've named her Chen Mingyu.
"Chen, after her mother's family name, and Mingyu represents our hope for a brighter tomorrow for the world," Mark explained in a Facebook video.
Sitting either side of Max, Mark and Priscilla spoke in Mandarin to welcome in the Year of the Monkey.
Mark has reportedly been learning the language for years and joked, “You think my Chinese is bad?” to Max at the end of the video.

We're not entirely sure if Max's Chinese name will go on her birth certificate or will just be used by her Chinese family.
But either way, we think it's a lovely way to acknowledge her Chinese heritage.
