1. Barnard Park Adventure Playground
Suitable for children from six to 14 years, this playground located in Barnard Park , which has play facilities for younger children. It is a supervised playground with wooden climbing frames, walkways, sandpit, paddling pool and even a model dragon! Other facilities include a basketball pitch, fire pit and an amphitheatre. Arts and craft classes are on offer.
2. Cornwallis Adventure Playground
Designed for five to 13 year olds and besides Cornwallis Park, Cornwallis Adventure Playground has a log cabin for children to play in, safe outdoor equipment and an enclosed sports pitch. It’s the headquarters of the Cornwallis Play & Youth Project, which organises child-led play sessions indoors and outdoors in all types of weather. Activities on offer are music, games, sports, cooking and arts and crafts, all facilitated by playworkers. There is even a full-day registered childcare service during the holidays for working parents and a year-round after-school club.
3. Crumbles Castle Adventure Playground
Aimed at children from five to 14 year old, Crumble Castle Adventure Playground won the 2001 Adventure Playground of the Year Award. It offers a funky open recreation space and a host of activities run by playworkers, including music, games, sports, cooking and arts and crafts. Child-led play sessons indoors and outdoors in all types of weather are organised year round. Children under five years are welcome accompanied by a carer.
4. Kids, formerly Hayward Adventure Playground
This adventure playground is designed for disabled children and those with special needs. It runs after-school and Saturday clubs and also holiday play schemes. Your child needs to be referred to use these facilities. Aimed at children from Islington with special needs and aged from five to 15 years, it can also be attended by children from nearby boroughs.

Open to children aged from five to 14 years, Lumpy Hill Adventure Playground runs an after-school club for children aged five to 11 years. 7. King Henry's Walk Play and Youth Project
Part of a youth centre, the adventure playground is free and open to children from six to 13 years. Wooden walkway, climbing frames, slides will keep your child occupied outdoors, while indoor facilities such as music, a computer suite, cooking, gardening club, football club, table tennis, arts and crafts and various classes and courses are ideal for rainy days. The playground is close to King’s Henry Walk Garden, a community garden that organises some children’s activities and events, such observing wildlife and pond dipping.

10. Three Corners Adventure Playground
This recently developed adventure playground is part of a new centre that provides services for children, young people and adults (classes and courses for adult learning). Offering indoor and outdoor play facilities, it is suitable from six to 13 year olds. Outdoor facilities include a five-a-side football pitch.
