Annabel Karmel’s Hot Choc Snowmen recipe

For the snowmen
- Pretzel sticks
- 9 medium-size white marshmallows
- 3 orange jelly beans
- chocolate icing writing pen
- 4 tbsp drinking chocolate
- sugarto taste (optional)
Method
step 1
To make the marshmallow snowmen, thread 3 marshmallows onto a cocktail stick. (The top marshmallow is your snowman's head, the middle marshmallow is his trunk and the bottom marshmallow is his hips.) Repeat with 2 more cocktail sticks.

Using the spare cocktail stick, make a small hole in the centre of the top marshmallows for the jelly bean nose. Make 2 small holes on either side of the middle marshmallow for the Pretzel-stick arms, and 2 small holes in the base of the bottom marshmallow for the Pretzel-stick legs

Insert Pretzel sticks into the holes you've made, breaking them to the right length. Insert the orange jelly beans for each snowman's nose

Using the chocolate writing icing pen, pop on 3 buttons on each snowman's chest, plus eyes and mouth on the head. Place to one side
step 5
For the hot chocolate, put the milk into a pan and bring to a simmer. Spoon in the drinking chocolate and stir until dissolved
step 6
Pour the hot chocolate into 3 mugs. Place the snowmen on top of your mugs and serve. Be careful to remove the cocktail stick for smaller children before they tuck in
