If you find yourself scrolling the Netflix homepage for ages trying to find something new to watch, either for your or the kids - you're not alone!

Here at MFM HQ, most of the team admit we do exactly the same thing fairly regularly ?

But after reading an article in The Sun, we discovered there are a whole host of other movies and kids programmes on Netflix that don't get surfaced...

Turns out, you can find them all by adding a number to the end of the Netflix url in your browser on a phone or tablet.

How do I use the secret Netflix codes to unlock hundreds of films and TV shows?

The Sun has published a list of all genres of films including boxing movies, classic westerns, mysteries, New Zealand thrillers and much more and the 'secret code' that you need to access them.

More like this

Simply put the code (usually a 4 or 5 digit number) at the end of the url in the browser using a forward slash: /INSERTNUMBER

We thought we'd pick out kids/family films, so we tried a couple of codes ourselves and they worked a treat.

Netflix secret codes for kids/family shows and movies

The Sun's article has a complete list of movies - we've picked out the family/children's movies here.

The number is the code you need to pop in at the end of the url:

  • Animal Tales: 5507
  • Children & Family Movies: 783
  • Classic Comedies: 31694
  • Classic Musicals: 32392

If you had a go at using the codes, tell us how you got on!

We'd love a heads up on any good children's films you've found that we might not have seen on the Netflix homepage - so let us know in the comments below or over on Facebook.
