What you'll need

  • Lots of autumn leaves - oak leaves are particularly good for the spikiness
  • 1 sheet coloured paper
  • White paper

  1. Draw a hedgehog shape on a white piece of paper. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but an oval shape will do!

What you'll need

  • One hand
  • Some fingers
  • Paper
  • Coloured paint

How your child can make a fingerprint tree

  1. Draw around their hand and arm - you may want to help them with this
  2. Paint the tree shape brown
  3. Dot different coloured paint on their fingers and place finger tips on the paper for leaves. Some can be on the tree, some can be on the ground and some can be falling - just like autumn.
  4. You could even make a family tree using different people’s fingers

4. Bonfire Night sparkly sky

What you'll need

  • Black paper/card
  • Glue stick
  • Glitter
  • Other sparkly craft bits

How your child can make a Bonfire Night sparkly sky

  1. Let loose with a glue stick to make swirls and patterns on the black paper/card
  2. Sprinkle on the glitter over the glue and shake off any excess
  3. Finally, add some sparkly details – like pompoms, pipe cleaners or sequins
