Toddler chilli con carne

- 4tbsp Sunflower oil
- 500g Lean minced beef
- 1 Onionfinely chopped
- 1 Whole clove of garliccrushed
- 1 Red pepperchopped
- A pinch of chilli powder
- ½tsp Ground cumin
- ½tsp Paprika(optional)
- 2tsp Tomato purée
- 400g Tinned chopped tomatoes
- 400g Can of kidney beansdrained
- 150ml Very low salt vegetable stock(made with half a reduced-salt stock cube and hot water)
Method
step 1
Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan and sauté the mince, onion, garlic and red pepper for 6-8 minutes.

Add the chilli powder, cumin and paprika (if using). Cook for 1 minute.
step 3
Add all the remaining ingredients and simmer covered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
step 4
For a family-friendly meal, remove children's portions from the pot then add extra chilli powder or chilli flakes for the adults.
