There’s lots of advice about what a toddler should be eating but what’s a good daily amount?
Milk/dairy: 16-20fl oz, or 1pt of whole milk daily. If he’s not keen on milk, ½-¾oz of cheese is equivalent to 4fl oz of milk.
Fruit and veg: Five or more portions per day. Serving size is 1-2 tbsp puréed, mashed or cubed.
Pasta/bread/cereal: Three to four servings per day. Serving size is ½ slice of bread, 2oz of pasta, 2oz of cereal, 2-3 small crackers.
Meat/fish/beans/eggs: Two servings per day. Serving size is ½ an egg, 2-3tbsp of beans, 1tbsp of peanut butter, 1oz fish, beef, pork or chicken.
