Cheesy leek and potato mash

This cheese, leek and potato mash is delicious on its own or served with chicken or white fish, suitable from 8 months

  • 25g leek, finely chopped
  • 100g potato, diced
  • 30g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 12g unsalted butter


  • Step 1

    Heat the butter in a pan and add the leek. Stir fry over a low heat for around 3 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Add the potato, cover with boiling water, cover and simmer for around 6 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Once cooked, drain, add the cheese and mash to the required consistency.
