Courgette, pea and kale puree

Thanks to superfood kale, this green puree is nutrient-rich and suitable for first weaning

- 200g peas, fresh or frozen
- 1 medium courgette
- 200g kale, fresh

Method

Step 1
Wash the courgette and cut into small chunks.

Step 2
Wash the kale and remove any tough stalks.

Step 3
Place all the ingredients in a large pan and cover with boiling water. Return to the boil, then simmer for 6 to 8 minutes, until the kale is cooked and the courgette is tender.

Step 4
Drain and puree to the required consistency.
- Try substituting any of the ingredients for other green vegetables, such as spinach, broad beans or broccoli.
