Courgette and cauliflower puree

Use fresh or frozen cauliflower and add cheese to this simple puree to make it suitable for older babies

  • 200g courgette
  • 100g cauliflower floret (fresh or frozen)


  • Step 1

    Cook the cauliflower florets in boiling water for 10-12 minutes until soft (or according to packet instructions, if using frozen cauliflower).

  • Step 2

    Drain and set aside.

  • Step 3

    Peel and chop the courgette, then steam until tender (around 8 minutes).

  • Step 4

    Combine the vegetables and blend to desired consistency.
